Salvador Dali

And so we begin.
Where the greatest atrocities of human civilization resolve
Where genius begins and insanity is born
Where the shadow of trees fades under the dome
Where the bird sings its final song.

Where the western giant accomplishes its deeds
Where men and women become one
Where the light of man silently shows
And the rain falls and turns into tears
For then only, the glowing of genius can cease

And the canvases are painted by mortals
The brush guided by angels
Wooden palettes mixed in colors of blue
Each draw measured by fire
And each breath by mortals of old
Not even Dali can escape
For then only, the glowing of genius can cease

The garden is green and the olive branch at the altar
The bird will sing once again
The sorrows of man shall be doomed
The moon a slave to the tide
And love enslaved to the soul
For then only, the glowing of genius can cease

Forever and ever
As it was in the beginning it shall be in the end.
Tired and old are the giants
As they whisper songs to embrace
And the watchers, once more, will rejoice.
For then only, the glowing of genius can cease

And so humanity dreams
The dream of life unknown and fulfilled
Tired and old
To the garden, they shall return.
For then only, the glowing of genius can cease.
